Yvan Bathany
Founder, partner, and commercial manager, Yvan BATHANY (Engineer graduated from ENSIA-AgroParisTech) applies his expertise in research and development in the industry, along with his experience in evaporation and crystallization, to design and initiate innovative units tailored to the clients’ constraints.
Jean-Pierre Chemin
Founder of Tech-Evap, Jean-Pierre Chemin, currently undertakes technical and commercial roles for Tech-Evap. His extensive experience gained in evaporation and drying at Entropie, Sérit, and Applexion, where he served as a technical manager, complements Tech-Evap’s expertise.
Jean-Jacques Edouard
Founder, partner, and head of the design office and construction sites, Jean-Jacques Edouard applies his practical sense, honed on construction sites worldwide, to the study and implementation of equipment designed by Tech-Evap.

The History of Tech-EVAP
For over 10 years, Tech-Evap has been leveraging its expertise for the industry. Founded in 2008 in France by three former colleagues from the company APPLEXION, Tech-Evap represents the amalgamation of three areas of expertise.
Tech-Evap brings together the follownig areas of expertise:
- Expertise in the design of highly efficient evaporators for seawater desalination and the agro-food industry.
- Expertise in research and development, as well as the integration of new processes in the agro-food industry.
- Expertise in the execution of large-scale projects and on-site project management.
Since its inception, Tech-Evap has been on a continuous journey of innovation, expanding its portfolio of high-performance solutions and offering customized installations that prioritize operational safety, energy efficiency, and client-specific requirements.
First Energy-Saving Project during a Facility Revamp, involving the design and installation of a steam thermocompressor: Lactoserum-France
Mechanical recompression and steam thermocompression are integrated on a multi-pass falling film evaporator to concentrate high-boiling point products, such as Citric Acid, in China.
Tech-Evap consolidates a mechanical steam recompression system across multiple evaporators to reduce investment costs.
Mechanical steam recompression is integrated into 4 multi-product plate evaporators within a limited space, handling glucose, maltodextrin, and fructose processing in Austria.
Tech-Evap combines centrifugal mechanical steam recompression with a plate evaporator for small-capacity applications suited for small and medium-sized industries.
